We just finished hosting Worship Central here in Hong Kong with Tim Hughes, Al Gordon and Mike Pilavachi. It was an amazing weekend of worship and teaching. We had over 750 registered delegates which is massive for a worship conference in HK.

The vision for Worship Central is something that I really believe in and we are going to be getting a lot more involved in Worship Central events, particularly in Asia, in the coming years. It's one of the best run conferences that I have been to in terms of style and substance. There are no rockstars or Christian celebrities involved - in fact the very notion is playfully mocked throughout the conference. It was great to see that no one took themself too seriously and great fun was had by all.

Mike Pilavachi is a phenomenal teacher and preacher of the word. I feel that he wears his heart on his sleeve and God uses him powerful. He's also and incredibly funny guy and it was a real privilege to meet and minister alongside him. The way that Mike, Tim and Al allow the Holy Spirit to work is unlike any experience I've had before. There is no hype, there is no shouting or screaming, they just quietly wait for the spirit to move and fall on people. It was an awesome experience.

I was also hugely proud of our church team, who volunteered and served the entire event. What an amazing group of people and it's such an honor to do life alongside all of them.

The major highlight of the weekend for me was hosting a Worship Leaders Lunch with worship pastors and leaders from all over Hong Kong. It was one of the first times that we have had such a group of people together in one room, and there is a real excitement to move forward from this and keep connecting with one another. Tim and Al shared about Worship Central, and then I shared briefly about supporting each other and championing each other as worship leaders - something that is close to my heart.

We are planning for another Worship Central in HK again next year. If you didn't make it this time, definitely make sure you come along next time. You won't regret it.

To finish, here is my favourite photo from the weekend - Tim giving my baby girl Layla a cuddle:
